From October 16 to November 16, 2025, SEGNI is organizing the Grand Tour of Italian Theatre for Young Audiences—a unique opportunity for international professionals to discover performances by visiting Mantua and then continuing their journey through other festivals and theatre seasons across Italy.

The initiative begins with a first phase in which SEGNI gathers expressions of interest from Italian professionals—companies or programmers—willing to welcome and meet international professionals by hosting them for a day at their venue or inviting them to attend a performance of their work in a beautiful Italian theatre.

A way to build networks by welcoming the professionals who will attend Segni Festival and offering them a broader discovery of Italian theatre for young audiences in a cooperative and connected perspective.

What you can do:

1. IF YOU ARE A NON-ITALIAN CULTURAL PROFESSIONAL:

Let us know if you are interested in taking part in this Grand Tour, which passes through Mantua for the SEGNI New Generations Festival and includes stops at other festivals and theatres across Italy.

2. IF YOU ARE AN ITALIAN ORGANIZATION (Festival or Theatre)

Adopt an international professional: You can host an international guest in your region, taking care of their hospitality (hotel, meals, activities), while SEGNI handles the logistics. The guest will cover their own travel expenses. If desired, you may also suggest a professional to invite, and SEGNI will support the invitation by hosting them at the festival.

With the support of Cristina Cazzola, SEGNI will gather availability and proposals, creating a direct connection between you and your “adopted international guest.” It’s a great chance to expand your network, promote Italian theatre for young audiences, and strengthen international cooperation!

What is key to success:

Having content to present between October 16 and November 16, so that the guest’s trip to Italy—particularly their visit to Segni Festival—can be enriched and extended through networking opportunities.
