Cristina Cazzola

Cristina Cazzola is a cultural producer with ample experience in strategic networking, mentoring and fund raising for public institutions, private foundations and enterprises to foster internationalization and cooperation processes.  She has a specific expertise in theatre for young audiences and in audience development and engagement methodologies for teenagers and young people. 

From 2006 she is founder and artistic director of Mantua’s Segni d’infanzia festival recently renamed SEGNI New Generations Festival, recognized as one of the most important events dedicated to theatre for young audiences in Italy and in Europe, 8 days, around 300 meetings with shows and workshops for over 30,000 spectators, from 18 months up to 18 years old, for schools and families, artists and delegates from all over the world.
She has been Assitej Italia Vice for 6 years and  created the Chain reaction project to improve the internationalization of artists and the skills of producers in the sector of the Youth Theatre with a road map of journeys  and events  at  national and international festivals.

In 2012 she founded and heads as project manager the teenager’s engagement methodology T.E.E.N., created in Mantua, scaled in Milan and then tested in Europe, financed twice by the Creative Europe program, shaped thanks to the cooperation with TeaterCentrum DK, Skenekunstbrukett, Hasselt, La Caixa Forum, University of Lisbon and Dialogues UK.

From 2018 she runs Liv.in.g., a social enterprise born with the aim of promoting and supporting the internationalization of the performing arts sector with a learning by doing strategy, connecting professionals, setting national reference structures to build a stable connection between Italian and international markets, promoting discussion and influencing cultural policies.

As dramaturg and director, she has created over 15 shows in 20 years.
