Being volunteers during “Segni d’infanzia” festival

After a big success in 2007, the organization of the festival is once again looking for “willing volunteers” for the third edition of “Segni d’infanzia”.
Volunteers play a fundamental role for the success of the festival and this is why, this year too, we are about to prepare a team of willing, enthusiastic, available persons who would like to give their contribution with us in order to let 2008 “Segni d’infanzia” edition be a memorable event.

Volunteers’ recruitment is opened from May 1st 2008.
Here below please find some simple indications for anyone who is interested in participating.

The volunteers can give their contribution during the festival (From 9th to 16th November) and/or before it, starting from the second half of September.
Possible tasks: ticket office, ticket checking and assistant in theatres or where the events take place, production of videos or picture taking for the festival’s documentation, texts translations or interpreting for foreign artists, support at info-point or at the “ludoteca” (game library), spaces outfitting and equipment, distribution of promotional material.
The volunteers shall assure to be available both concerning time and engagement for a minimum period (that shall be directly agreed with the organization) and they shall be also present to preparation meetings (a couple of meetings in September and October).
All the volunteers will be provided with pass and will have free admittance to the festival’s events.

In your request of participation, please indicate the following information:

-Kind of preferred task (preferences will be taken into consideration as far as organization needs will allow to)
- Availability, indicating in detail the period (before and/or during the festival), days and hours ranges.

The organisation will contact each one of the persons who sent their request in order to have a short meeting-interview during which defining participation modes.

In case you would like to give your contribution to the festival’s organisation but have no time enough to spend or no means for actively act as a volunteer, we also offer another possibility: open your homes to host foreign artists and co-operators of the festival. In this case, you just need to communicate this possibility, indicating the kind of accommodation you can offer, for which days and for how many persons.
